We would like to form a new professional group through Haenyeo Haenam education and inherit and develop the UNESCO-listed traditional culture. Currently, professional haenyeo Haenam is disappearing due to the aging of haenyeo in Korea. We need to preserve and develop the Haenyeo Haenam culture, a World Heritage Site.

The sea, where fishermen live, is being depleted of coastal resources due to indiscriminate overfishing. Therefore, it is essential to cultivate healthy haenyeo Haenam to preserve fish stocks, marine ecosystems, and the world heritage of haenyeo culture. Therefore, we will preserve the sea like our mother's arms healthily by running the program to cultivate healthy haenyeo Haenam, a new profession.
